Subang air base: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has departed Malaysia following a State Visit and the 26th Annual Leaders’ Consultation between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia. His Royal Highness Prince ‘Abdul Mateen accompanied His Majesty during this visit.
According to Radio Television Brunei, a Doa Selamat was read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia Doctor Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned, the State Mufti, before His Majesty’s departure. Dignitaries present at Subang Air Base to bid farewell to His Majesty included Yang Amat Berhormat Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Malaysia; Yang Amat Mulia Tunku Temenggong Johor Tunku Idris Iskandar Al-Haj ibni Sultan Ibrahim; and Yang Berhormat Datuk Ahmad Fahmi bin Mohamed Fadzil, Minister of Communications acting as Minister in attendance.
Also in attendance were Yang Berbahagia Datuk Rozainor bin Ramli, the Chief Government Ceremonial Officer, Ceremonial Division and International Conference Secretariat; His Excellency Datuk Mohd Aini bin Atan, the High Commissioner of Malaysia to Brunei Darussalam; and His Excellency Retired Brigadier General Dato Paduka Haji Mahmud bin Haji Saidin, the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to Malaysia.
