Jerudong Park Medical Centre: Jerudong Park Medical Centre (JPMC) launched the International Nurses and Midwifery Day 2025 celebration with a Doa Kesyukuran ceremony to honour the dedication of nurses and midwives while supporting vulnerable communities. Present was Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health as Chairman of the Executive Board of JPMC. The ceremony included the reading of Surah Yaasin, Tahlil and Doa Kesyukuran as well as the presentation of donations to orphans and individuals with special needs. The theme of this year's International Nurses and Midwifery Day celebration is "Our Nurses, Our Future, Caring for Nurses, Strengthens Economies".
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was designed to acknowledge the critical roles that nurses and midwives play in the healthcare system. The ceremony not only paid tribute to their work but also aimed to highlight their contributions to the economy. The presentation of donations was a key part of the celebration, reinforcing the commitment to support those in the community who are most in need.
