Enhancing Students’ Entrepreneurial Skills through Strategic Collaboration

Bandar Seri Begawan: Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and Tabung Amanah Pekerja (TAP) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for a strategic collaboration aimed at nurturing entrepreneurship, enhancing financial literacy, and supporting national workforce readiness among students and graduates. The signing ceremony took place at the University on May 9, 2025.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the MoU signing was officiated by Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, UBD Vice Chancellor, on behalf of UBD, while TAP was represented by Awang Haji Mohammad Adfarul bin Haji Maz Adnan, TAP Managing Director. This MoU represents the shared commitment of both parties in empowering students and graduates with the necessary knowledge, tools, and opportunities to succeed in a changing economic landscape.

Among the key areas of collaboration is the promotion of TAP's Skim Persaraan Kebangsaan for Self-Employed (SPK SE). This initiative will be introduced to students and aspiring entrepreneurs through a series of awareness and outreach programs, aiming to provide them with a deeper understanding of entrepreneurial opportunities and financial preparedness.
