Kampung Sungai Tilong: The Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) certificates were presented at an event hosted at the residence of His Excellency Kikuta Yutaka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Brunei Darussalam. The ceremony recognized the efforts of individuals whose native language is not Japanese and who have demonstrated proficiency in the language.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the JLPT has been a standard for measuring and certifying Japanese-language proficiency since its inception in 1984. The event, held on the afternoon of April 23rd, saw the attendance of Doctor Hj Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education at the Ministry of Education. A total of 25 examinees were awarded certificates for their achievements in the test.
