Brunei darussalam: The second Meeting on Upholding Jawi Writing in Brunei Darussalam, organised by Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB, reflects the institution's proactive and ongoing efforts to strengthen collaborative ties with government agencies and stakeholders dedicated to upholding the Jawi writing. Organised by the Centre for Jawi and Kitab Turath Studies, the meeting took place on the morning of 2nd July at the university college.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Dr. Haji Abang Hadzmin bin Haji Abang Taha, Acting Ra'es of KUPU SB, was present at the meeting. The event is aimed at serving as a vital platform for reinforcing the role of Jawi writing in the life of society and the country, while also formulating a comprehensive strategy to preserve the writing as a national and linguistic heritage of Brunei Darussalam.
