Jerudong: The Ministry of Health and Gleneagles JPMC have reaffirmed their commitment to a strong public-private partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU plays a critical role in promoting healthy habits, particularly among the youth, making it an investment in the nation’s future health landscape. The signing ceremony took place at Tarindak D’Polo, Jerudong.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the signing was witnessed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health. Representing the ministry, Doctor Hajah Rafidah binti Haji Gharif, Acting Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Health, signed the MoU. On behalf of Gleneagles JPMC, Doctor Peter Tay, Chief Executive Officer, signed the agreement. Additionally, a mock cheque presentation amounting to 250,000 dollars was held, signifying the funds allocated to support the health programmes initiated by this partnership.
