Brunei Athletes Depart for 2nd ASEAN Deaf Games in Jakarta

Jakarta: Brunei Darussalam’s contingent, consisting of four athletes, has left the country to participate in the 2nd ASEAN Deaf Games in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia. The National Flag Handover Ceremony took place on the evening of 18th August.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the national flag was handed over by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, to Pengiran Haji Norahalim bin Pengiran Haji Abdul Rahman, the Chef de Mission. The athletes from Brunei will compete in Athletics and Tenpin Bowling events during the competition, which is scheduled from 20th August to 26th August.
