Tutong: The Ministry of Religious Affairs, through the Islamic Da’wah Centre and its Muallaf Development Division, in partnership with the Tutong District Da’wah Unit, organized a donation event for new converts on the afternoon of August 19. The event took place at the Tutong District Da’wah Unit Office, where electric generators were distributed to three muallaf, or new converts to Islam.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the donation was presented by Awang Haji Abd Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, the Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Religion at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. This ceremony is a part of the Islamic Da’wah Centre’s ongoing initiative aimed at enhancing the well-being of new converts in the country, reflecting their commitment to supporting and integrating muallaf into the community.
