Bandar Seri Begawan: The Industry and Business Ecosystem Division, through the Weights and Measures Unit under the Ministry of Finance and Economy, has carried out a mobile station verification service at three notable locations: Tamu Kianggeh, Pasar Tani Selayun, and Pasar Gadong.
According to Radio Television Brunei, during the service, the SDT Unit successfully registered 173 units of weighing machines. This continuous initiative aims to adopt a customer-friendly approach to safeguard consumer interests and promote transparency among local businesses. Additionally, it seeks to ensure compliance with the Weights and Measures Act of 1983, Chapter 151, and the Verification Regulations of 1994.
