Four Individuals Fined for Violating Miscellaneous Offences Act at Jerudong Beach

Bandar Seri Begawan: Four individuals have been issued compound fines by the Licensing and Enforcement Division of the Brunei Muara District Office for dumping waste at public places, a violation under the Miscellaneous Offences Act Chapter 30.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the locals involved, Afif Hisyam bin Haji Azamain, Muhammad Aiman Izzudin bin Muhammad Isa, and Muhammad Qashri Rawiyani bin Abdul Aji, were each fined $300. Additionally, Milon Hossain, a Bangladeshi national, was fined $200 for their offences at the Jerudong Beach area.

The offenders have been instructed to settle their fines within seven days. Failure to comply will result in the case being brought to court, where, if found guilty, they could face a fine not exceeding $9,000, imprisonment for up to 12 months, or both.
