Berakas: 20 participants from Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore have come together for the 4th Nusantara Quatrain Empowerment Project. Organized by the Language and Literature Bureau as the Mastera Brunei Darussalam Secretariat, the project was inaugurated at the bureau in Berakas on the morning of May 24.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was officiated by Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, Member of the Legislative Council. Doctor Siti Norkhalbi binti Haji Wahsalfelah, Deputy Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, was also in attendance. The occasion was marked by the Mastera Quatrain Seminar titled 'Memperkasa Pantun Nusantara.'
The seminar featured briefings that emphasized quatrain as a collective oral literature form, highlighting its use in various social contexts such as entertainment, education, and diplomacy.
