Jerudong: The Proudly Brunei Business Award (PBBA) 2025 recently celebrated local enterprises that have shown exceptional performance, innovation, and resilience within their industries. The prestigious event highlighted the importance of collaboration and strategies aimed at fostering Brunei's sustainable economic growth.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Daniel Leong, Acting Chief Executive Officer of the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB), addressed the audience in his welcoming remarks, emphasizing that the awards serve as a platform to inspire and empower local businesses to lead with purpose and innovation. The awards were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy.
Among the notable winners, Poni Marine received the Business Growth Award, while Fatih Aquaculture was honored with the Start-up Award. The Youth Entrepreneur Award was given to Weddingloka Company, and Beauteleven Company took home the Women Entrepreneur Award. In the priority sectors, Taurean Bakeshop and Cafe won the Food Award, Weddingloka Company was recognized for the Services Award, and Kommunihub Company received the Tourism Award.
