Rites of Sacrifice Ceremony Educates on Generosity

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Rites of Sacrifice, aimed at fostering generosity in the way of Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala, was organized by the State Judiciary Department and Courts, Prime Minister’s Office, on the afternoon of 9th June. During the ceremony, two buffaloes were sacrificed, and the distribution of sacrificial meats to 20 recipients was officiated by Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar, Chief Syar’ie Judge.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Kampung Kasat Mosque Takmir Committee, along with the Kampung Kasat Consultative Council, also conducted a Rites of Sacrifice on the morning of 9th June. Present at this event was Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Japar bin Haji Mat Dain alias Maidin, Deputy State Mufti. Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, Member of the Legislative Council, handled the distribution of the sacrificial meats, which came from the sacrifice of ten buffaloes.
