Rites of Sacrifice Ceremony Observed Across Multiple Districts

Brunei: The Rites of Sacrifice was held by various organizations nationwide to foster a sense of care and unity within communities. The Senior Citizens Activity Centre, PKWE, in the Brunei Muara District, organized a ceremony where two buffaloes were sacrificed. The distribution of the sacrificial meat was carried out by Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Daud bin Jihan, a Member of the Legislative Council.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Kampung Penapar Mosque Takmir Committee Members in the Tutong District also participated in the Rites of Sacrifice, where three buffaloes were sacrificed. The distribution was overseen by Doctor Dayang Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, the Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education.

Meanwhile, the Seri Begawan Religious Teachers University College, KUPU SB, hosted an IHYA ‘EID AL ADHA Ceremony. The event was attended by Associate Professor Doctor Abdul Nasir bin Haji Abdul Rani, RA’ES of KUPU SB, and included an Aidiladha Special Talk. Two buffaloes were sacrificed during this occasion.

Additionally, the RPN Lambak Kanan Kawasan Dua held their own Rites of Sacrifice, where three buffaloes were sacrificed. The distribution of the meat was managed by Pengiran Ameer Mubarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, the Acting Brunei District Officer.
