Bandar Seri Begawan: In conjunction with the 64th Anniversary of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF), the Ministry of Defence held a reading of Surah Yaasin and Tahlil Ceremony at the Royal Mausoleum on the morning of 23rd May. The ceremony was dedicated to Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, Al-Marhumah Duli Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Damit, and Al-Marhum His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony was attended by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, who serves as Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Also present was Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, the Commander of RBAF.
