Bandar Seri Begawan: The public can once again contribute to the Brunei Darussalam Mosque Construction Fund via the Short Message Service, SMS for a period of 10 months, starting 27th of March 2025 until 31st of December 2025. The launch of the SMS Service for the Mosque Construction Fund was held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs. It was officiated by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs as Chairman of the Fund Collection and Disbursement Committee for the Construction of Brunei Darussalam Mosques.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony also witnessed the Acceptance of Contributions for the Fund through SMS for 2024 amounting to $215,975 from DST Sendirian Berhad; Progresif Sendirian Berhad; and Imagine Sendirian Berhad. The Fund also received a contribution of $10,000 from DST Sendirian Berhad.
