Bandar seri begawan: The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Institute of Defence and Strategic Studies recently hosted a presentation session featuring the Top 5 Policy Analysis Exercise (PAE) Papers for the 19th Executive Development Programme 2024 (EDP) for Senior Government Officials on Public Policy and Management by the Ministry of Defence. The event took place at the Institute’s Lecture Hall.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the session was attended by distinguished guests, including Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence. Also present were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, Minister of Health, and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The session included two panels where seven presentations were delivered by programme participants who received top marks for their respective PAEs. In conjunction with the presentations, the Institute released its latest book publication, compiling the seven best essays from the 19th EDP Cohort. The purpose of the session was to bring together policy-relevant stakeholders, policymakers, and decision makers to engage in discussions about innovative policy ideas that aim to contribute towards achieving Wawasan Brunei 2035.
