Tragic! A 47-year-old disabled man lives alone in a flooded house for 3 days. It is believed that he went to the bathroom and fell and drowned in the house. Officials found a body drowned in a house in Tambon Chaiyathan, Amphoe Saraphi, Chiang Mai Province, which had been flooded for three days since October 6. The deceased was named Mr. Phisit, aged 47, who drowned in a living room with water up to his knees. Initial reports indicated no signs of assault. Relatives reported that the deceased was mentally handicapped and often walked around. The person who found the body was Mr. Uthaiwan, aged 57, his uncle-in-law. Mr. Uthaiwan said that on October 7th in the evening, he brought rice to the deceased and he saw that he was still alive. This morning, he brought breakfast. When he called out to the deceased, he did not answer. So he went to find him and found that the deceased was lying face down in the water. It is estimated that he got up to use the bathroom and was not careful, so he lost his balance and f ell. The house was flooded and the electricity was cut off to prevent electrical leakage. The deceased probably did not see it and was living alone at the time of the incident.
