Kuala lumpur: Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) and International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) have formalized a new academic partnership by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at strengthening their academic ties. The agreement, signed at the International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation, is anticipated to foster collaborative opportunities for students and researchers from both institutions.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the MoU was signed by Doctor Hazri bin Haji Kifle, Vice Chancellor of UBD, and Professor Emeritus Dato’ Doctor Osman Bakar, Rector of IIUM. The partnership is set to leverage the unique strengths and resources of both universities, providing a platform for academic exchanges and joint research initiatives. The ceremony also featured a book launching, highlighting the collaborative spirit and shared goals of the two institutions.
