Jakarta: The Second Regional Meeting of Five National Commissions for UNESCO was recently conducted virtually, bringing together key stakeholders to enhance partnerships across the region. Jointly organized by the UNESCO Regional Office in Jakarta and the UNESCO National Commission of the Philippines (UNACOM), the meeting aimed to bolster collaboration among the Five National Commissions for UNESCO.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the meeting was attended by Dr. Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary for Core Education, Ministry of Education, who participated as the Secretary-General of the National Commission of Brunei Darussalam for UNESCO. The gathering provided a platform to share key developments, achievements, and upcoming strategic initiatives, with the goal of strengthening regional cooperation and advancing UNESCO’s priorities in the participating countries.
