Jerudong: In a move to honor the birth of Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam by appreciating his Sunnah and morals, while fostering Islamic ukhuwah and the spirit of togetherness among women, the Women’s Special Assembly in conjunction with the Maulidur Rasul Celebration 1447 Hijrah is scheduled to take place on Thursday, the 18th of September 2025.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony will be held at the Royal Berkshire, Jerudong. The event will feature the reading of Al-Quran verses, Dikir Marhaban, a special lecture, and a recital of Selawat performance. This year’s theme is ‘Rasulullah Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Adalah Teladan Keluarga Sakinah, Mawaddah Warahmah’, highlighting the Prophet as an exemplary model for harmonious and compassionate families.
The event is a collaborative effort, jointly organized by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Economy, Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam, and the Women’s Council Brunei Da
