Bandar Seri Begawan: Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah presented contributions amounting to over one hundred nineteen thousand dollars to seven families affected by house fires and natural disasters. The contribution also included assistance for house repairs and support to the Tutong New Converts Association (PESATU). The donation ceremony was held at the Multi-Purpose Hall, Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex, and aimed to alleviate the burdens faced by the affected families.
According to Radio Television Brunei, financial contributions amounting to 26 thousand dollars were distributed to seven families who fell victim to house fires and natural disasters across several villages. In addition, four families received assistance for house repairs, totaling 88 thousand 871 dollars and 40 cents. The contributions also included sponsored assistance in the form of air conditioners, valued at 4 thousand 194 dollars, provided to the Tutong New Converts Association (PESATU).
Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, who also serves as a Member of the Yayasan Board of Directors and Chairman of the Yayasan Aid Review Committee, was present to hand over the donations. The initiative is part of Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah's ongoing efforts to support communities in need and ensure they can continue their daily lives with fewer obstacles.
