Berakas: The Council for Welfare of Persons with Different Abilities, MKOKU, in collaboration with the Nadi Asy-Syura Group, Brunei’s national umbrella body representing nine non-governmental organizations for persons with disabilities, has organized the Youth Disability Camp 2025: Empowering Brunei’s Young Persons with Disabilities. The event was launched at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium on the morning of August 14.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the launch was officiated by Dato Paduka Haji Alimin bin Haji Abdul Wahab, who serves as the Advisor of MKOKU. An appreciation certificate presentation was also held to honor the contributing NGOs. The three-day camp aims to bring together 38 youths with disabilities to strengthen leadership skills, enhance confidence, and foster community engagement.
