Da’wah Seminar Highlights Four Decades of Achievements and Future Challenges

Bandar seri begawan: The 2-day Da’wah Seminar and Exhibition throughout 40 Years of PDI not only revealed the history and achievements of the da’wah movement over the past four decades, but also became a platform to assess current challenges and plan for the future. Twelve working papers were presented with the attendance of over 100 participants comprising of government and private sector officers and staff, students from higher educational institutions, and private individuals.

According to Radio Television Brunei, this afternoon’s presentation discussed the experience of four decades of da’wah efforts in the country, especially in the context of reaching out to non-Muslim indigenous communities and the role of the Sultans of Brunei in disseminating and strengthening Islamic da’wah. The seminar hoped to produce new and more effective approaches, particularly in facing digital challenges, guiding the youth, and expanding the da’wah network to the community.
