Bandar seri begawan: His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Chairman of the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah's Committee of Governors, attended a Doa Kesyukuran Ceremony to celebrate his 43rd birthday on July 1st afternoon. The ceremony was organized by Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah and held at the Yayasan Complex in Bandar Seri Begawan.
According to Radio Television Brunei, upon arrival, His Royal Highness was welcomed by several dignitaries. These included Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd. Yussof, Coordinating Minister for National Security, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence, who serves as a member of the Yayasan Board of Governors. Also in attendance were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd. Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, as a member of the Yayasan Board of Governors; Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh, Minister of Education, as the Chairperson of the Yayasan Board of Directors; and Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi bin Awang Haji Mohamad, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office for Civil Service Governance as Deputy Chairman of the Yayasan Board of Directors.
The ceremony featured the reading of Surah Yaasin and Doa Kesyukuran, led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustapa bin Awang Haji Murat, who also led the Fardhu Asar Prayer. Following the religious proceedings, His Royal Highness cut the birthday cake and received a pesambah.
In a gesture of philanthropy, His Royal Highness presented a donation amounting to BND74,000. This generous donation was allocated to the Patient Assistance Charity Fund under the Ministry of Health and An-Nur Harapan.
