Bandar seri begawan: In Islam, Hijrah signifies moving from a place, situation, or quality that is not favorable to one that is more pleasing to Allah Subhanahu Wataala. It necessitates istiqamah, or steadfastness, which involves persistently doing good while striving for personal improvement. This concept was elaborated on by the Head of Imarah Division, Department of Mosque Affairs, Ministry of Religious Affairs in an interview with RTB.

According to Radio Television Brunei, Awang Haji Fansuri Sharimi@Haji Mansur bin Mohamad Ali emphasized that change does not need to be abrupt but can be gradual. He outlined the process beginning with doa, or prayer, followed by self-reflection, and then a commitment to becoming a righteous individual. The ultimate goal for individuals is to continually enhance their ibadah, or acts of worship. Hijrah also encompasses the improvement of one's knowledge, charity, and overall way of life.
